Worked with a friend, Rob Norback, to create a productivity app that would help users focus on their life by monitoring their amount of screen time. We wanted to make this lifestyle game engaging, rewarding and overall fun.
Users are rewarded with baked goods the longer they are logged out from their phones/devices. The more baked goods are made, “bakers” (users) are able to purchase and unlock more pastries. Our key goal was to condition people to refocus on what happens outside of their screen reality.
Rob and I are hoping to grow more with this app by having it benefit for the good. Our future plans were to donate profit to an organization who will provide food for the poor or for people who are in dire need of food.

Pokemon Go Show
Was invited, with other SF local artists, to contribute to a fun art show dedicated to Pokemon Go. The game's phenomenon brought a lot of nostalgia for me and dedicated the print to the 100 Pokemons I could fit into a 13x19 print.
20% of the profits went to a special cause, which were to the ACLU and Planned Parenthood. Both organizations I fully support, especially because of President Trump. It was very special to me that I am able to contribute along side with others.
Illustrated favorite Pokemons that are available on Etsy. Still continuing to make more!

Commission work for a friend's cello recital
A talented friend asked to commission a page in his newest music album, Face Value. His music consisted a mash of classic roots, eletronica and rap. Illustrated the combination of the style and voices that reflected his album.

Commission work for a friend who wanted to gift his father-in-law of his family as sea horses. He REALLY loved sea horses.
A close friend from high school wrote me a poem during our senior literature class. With his great use of words and imagination he wrote, "My love for you is infinite, like a flying donut in space".
These words stuck with me throughout the years and I had to repay and commemorate that special moment.
Dios los Muertos
Funtime Labs was a print made for a friend of mine and his roommates. Having 3 tech guys living in San Francisco, of course they hacked into Google Maps and programed their house as "Funtime Labs".
This portrait illustrates the three as mad/fun scientists.
"Shit Happens" is a progress booklet of all of the class projects I developed within the semester. For each project, the booklet displays photos and explanations of my progress and some of the mistakes that happened along the way.
The concept of the booklet was to explain in every major project, whether if we like it or not, something goes wrong along the process. As designers we learn from our mistakes to develop more beautiful and flawless work. Making mistakes is a blessing in desguise.
